OMG OMG OMG OMG

So, some of you know and some don't but Marina Lenzino and I decided to make each other a doll.

Marina is a dear friend of mine who lives about 25 minutes south of me and we have been getting together fairly often over the last month or so.  She's a very talented doll maker ( check out her work on her blog) and she also designs and sells artist stamps through her stamp company called Cherry Pie Art Stamps.

Anyway, we started discussing making a doll for one another and started discussing what the other would like to receive.  I requested a Wednesday Addams doll and Marina said anything Halloween.

WELL.... Marina got busy right away and this past Wednesday she came to my home and brought Wednesday Addams with her.  How appropriate, right?  I got my Wednesday on Wednesday! :)

I had seen pictures of her a few days before I got her but man oh man am I in love now that I can hold her in my own hands..  She's just so cute!  She stands about 8.5 inches tall and her arms are posable and she carries the cutest tiny little doll.  I just love her!  Here's a pic:

Swoon...

Ok, ok.... so last night I finally finished the doll I made for Marina, a little witch named Tessa.  She's about 8 inches tall without her hat and I sculpted her in paperclay.  All of her joints are moveable.  I even made a sweet little coffin box to present her in.  Oh... and her hat and feather boa are removable.

Without further ado, I introduce to you, Tessa!

                                                                   Without the boa on

MArina has only seen pictures of her as of yet.  This little witchy is still with me for now.  I'll be giving her to Marina when we get together for a local doll show next weekend.  I hope she loves this doll as much as I do.

I've been up to so much lately and I still have so much to do.  I'd show you but most of it is for other swaps where the people haven't received their stuff yet and I don't want to spoil the surprise so, I'm afraid this is all I can show you for now.  I'm in crazy busy mode trying to get a million things done for the holiday season so I don't know how much I'll be able to blog but I'll try to pop in when I can.

Have a spooktacular Halloween!  I'll be out trick or treating with the kidlets tomorrow myself.

Hugs,
Moriah

I've just popped over from Bea's blog. How gorgeous are your dolls. They are both fabulous, what a talented pair you are. I have been making Dotee Dolls recently and they are such fun. I have also made 2 rag dolls which are quite cute with very long legs!
