What I've Been Up To This Week......

We redid our dining room too. Ahhhhh... now it feels like home! I have been sick, taking care of sick children, boxing up OWOH prizes to ship out, running all over the place and then redecorating. Whew! It was a ton of running and work but oh so worth it. Now it's time to get back into the studio and get my hands dirty! What have you been up to lately??

OWOH GIVEAWAY NOTICE

Wow! What a ride! Over 1,000 blogs visited and so many new friends! Good grief! Maybe now I can get back to work around here. I had a blast, I met great people and I'm exhausted... in a good way of course.

The giveaway deadline has arrived and I have closed the comments on the blog post. I am so pleased and pleasantly surprised that there are 342 entries!!! i went through and looked to make sure there were no repeats (there were a couple) and then printed out all of the names and the day and time they left a comment. Then I cut them into slivers and put them into a very pretty butterfly box that my aunt sent me awhile back for safe keeping.

Tomorrow i will have one of the kiddies draw out 2 names and then I'll contact the winners. Good luck everyone!!

Quick Hello

Hello everyone! I'm back from the land of cough and hack! We have so much going on here at the betterly Homestead that i just haven't had a minute to share all of the things that I'm dying to share with you. There's stuff from our trip to the fair, a new addition to our family and and and...... Sigh..... I hope to be able to get the posts and video finished soon to share. in the meantime...

A OWOH update.. As of the time of this post, we have 334 entries for the OWOH Giveaway! How awesome is that?! I'm very excited about the whole thing. I will be cutting off comments and not allowing anymore entries at midnight on Feb 14th, Eastern Standard Time. To determine the winner, one of my minions, ahem... children will draw out two names from a box. I will be video recording it and will post the video on my blog sometime Monday evening. I will also contact the winner if they left a way for me to contact them. The winners will have 72 hours to get in touch with me and provide a mailing address or I will have my minion draw another name. So, keep your fingers crossed and GOOD LUCK!!

Now I have to get going as I have a very special "person" to pick up who is very excited to join our family today. More later..

Cough...Hack....Ugh...

Sorry I have been missing for awhile. My daughter caught THE flu, had to be admitted due to her asthma and now I have it too.... I have had to stay in my bedroom so I don't get the other kids sick too so I haven't been able to work on anything for almost a week.

My daughter is back home and today is feeling MUCH better! I wouldn't say I feel great but as long as the fever stays handled, I seem to be okay. My throat is a little sore and my ears are bothering me but other than that, I'm doing fine. It helps that I have a wonderful husband who takes care of me when I'm ill! He just ROCKS!

We were supposed to be in Bradenton today to do some volunteer work for the Disney program, but alas, we obviously had to cancel. Hopefully I'll be able to find another charity all of us can help and reschedule. Our apologies to the Gulfcoast Girl Scouts for not being able to help.

Okay, enough sicky talk. I'll be back as soon as I can!
