A Witch ... October must be around the corner!

Here's a little witch I made a few days ago.  She's about 5-6 inches tall and she started out as two wood turnings glued together with a paperclay head.  Her skirt is made from pages of a book and her arms are jointed but do not move from their position.  She's a friendly little witch, not the child eating kind... lol..

I'll be listing her in the Ole Shop later tonight or possibly Wednesday, depending how much I get done in the studio tonight....

A few more Dunderheads and a friendly witch....

This Dunderhead was a request from my husband... he wanted a Dunderhead made that had a robber's mask on...

This one has a masqurade type mask on....

And these two are the standard.....

This little witch will stand about 5-6 inches when she's all finished.  I used some wood turnings to make up her body and her head is sculpted in Paperclay.  I'll be adding arms, wig, hat and skirt today...

Can You Smell the Cotton Candy Yet??

I made 4 more block dolls.  These are a little bit bigger than the gnome girls.  Each of these are about 4.5 inches tall.

Now I'm off to make some more Dunderhead Ornaments!

Who Says???

Who says gnomes have to be short, fat, hairy guys?  I think they can be short, not so fat, pretty, girls!

These little gnome girls are sculpted in paperclay over a wood block and painted with acrylics.  The tallest one stands 4 inches tall if you count her hat and the shortest one is 3.5 inches tall.  I think they are just so stinkin' cute!

Dunderheads Are Almost Done!

I can't tell you how much fun I've been having creating these goofy faced little characters!  I stopped sculpting and started painting today.  They're now all painted and ready for their hangers.  I'll tackle that tomorrow evening.  Some of these crazy little ornaments will be available in my Etsy Shop on Sunday! 

Here's some sneak peeks, sorry for the picture quality, the camera battery is dead and I had to use my cell phone.  I'll post better pics when they have their hangers.

Sculpting In My Studio Today

Swap Fever

Hello beautiful people!  I've been hard at work rearranging the studio after adding some new furniture which I have video of but haven't gotten around to editing it yet... it's coming soon, promise.  I've also been busy with some DIY stuff... painting the kitchen and kids' bathroom.  I haven't spent a ton of time creating but I did have a few swap responsibilities that I had to finish.  I made two mermaid dolls and I'll be darned if I didn't wrap them up before taking pictures of them!  Grrrr!  Oh well. 

I also had to finish a bird house for another swap that's due out this week.  I did manage to take pictures of it, thank goodness!

So, here it is.... a cute little bird house and a bird house magnet to go along for the ride.

I'll get busy on that video of the studio tomorrow and get it up here for you to peek at but for now, I'm exhausted and heading to bed.  Goodnight peeps!
